Production Notes:
Reflections from projects
I stopped promoting independent video services about four years ago, and realized some of my best ideas have been left unresolved.
For the past four years, I have been producing mostly television commercials. Because I was guided by media sales, the Account Executive just wanted to "get it on the air". In this approach creativity suffered. Also, clients wanted to shove too much information into 30 seconds. I still managed to produce some memorable effective commercials. Now that I have the opportunity to meet directly with clients without someone trying to sell media, Edward Ashton Productions is able to deliver a far more superior product. We are creating bundles of video, which can be used to launch digital video campaigns. Because I am Executive Producer, I can work with client budgets, verify the target audience is being served and ensure that continuity of message and visuals are executed. As far as original programming, branded content and music videos, these services have also returned. Please welcome Edward Ashton Productions back to the scene of the St. Louis area. Please contact me here for a bid.
